Marvellous Melody of Endless Love: a concert by The Julian Players

A feast ‘with marvellous melody of endless love’ is one of Julian’s visions of heaven.  The Julian Players have taken this as the inspiration for their forthcoming lunchtime concert at the Assembly House, 29th October, 1 p.m.  Anna Green (violin), Howard Green (continuo), Beth Medlik (soprano), Jonathan Steffen (mandolin) and Max John (piano) will play works by Heinrich Biber, Johann Sebastian Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, Antonio Vivaldi, Franz Schubert and Johannes Brahms. ‘Love is the meaning’: from the sacred to the secular.  Proceeds will go to The Magdalene Group and the Sue Lambert Trust, and the venue has generously been made available by The Assembly House Trust.
