Assembly House Classical is a series of hour-long lunchtime classical music concerts which hosts musicians who are renowned nationally and internationally.
The Thursday lunchtime concerts began in 2017, thanks to Roger Rowe, the former programme director of the Norfolk and Norwich Music Club, where he enjoyed a wonderful and successful 20-year tenure.
Programming is now courtesy of Iain Lowery, a music industry professional who continues Roger’s work in bringing to the city a wide range of artists and ensembles largely given by prize-winning musicians at the start of their careers.
Since 2017 Assembly House Classical has hosted more than 50 concerts including: Joanna MacGregor, Sacconi Quartet, Benjamin Grosvenor, Tom Poster, Ben Comeau, Fitzwilliam Quartet, Daniel Pioro, Zoffany Ensemble and many more.
The Assembly House Trust is proud to support Assembly House Classical.
