We are now accepting submissions for the 2025 Summer exhibition. The exhibition will be held in The Noverre Ballroom at The Assembly House for seven days in June.
There is no theme, submission fee, or commission taken.
Before submitting work please read the Terms & Conditions. This year applications are submitted using an online form.
Submissions are open to artists working anywhere in the the UK, each artist can enter up to three works made in the last two years. The 2023 open call received over 1000 works by 350 artists from Norwich to Northern Ireland, with 50 works included in the exhibition.

The Exhibition
The panel for the Summer Open 2025 selection will be: Jes Fernie, independent curator and writer based in Essex; Caroline Fisher, Trustee of The Assembly House Trust and Director of Caroline Fisher Projects; Henry Jackson Newcomb, Arts Manager for The Assembly House Trust.
The Open Call offers an accessible opportunity for artists living in the UK at any stage in their career to enter up to three works in any medium, made in the last two years. There is no specific theme set for the 2025 exhibition, and artists are not charged a submission fee to enter works. Additionally, there is no commission taken on sales. This is made possible through the support of The Assembly House Trust.
Submission Form
This year the applications are submitted using an online form, click the images for a preview of the form. If you are using the same device and web browser, you can usually close the form and re-open it within 10 days and continue from where you left it.
Information required
When completing the form you will be asked for your contact information and links to socials. You will then be asked for a brief statement - either on your practice or the works submitted, max 100 words.
Lastly you will be asked to enter the details of up to three works, one at a time, after entering the work info you will be asked to upload a single image. If you are only submitting one work, you can leave the remaining pages blank.
