EYE HOLE - Laura Bygrave, Karis Upton, Nicky Deeley

INGRESS presents Eye Hole

A two-day exhibition at The Assembly House

Sat 4 & Sun 5 Feb, 10am–5pm

Free entry, all welcome

Eye Hole is the third exhibition of ‘INGRESS’, a three woman collective who share a love of speculative fiction and the eerie. Please visit on 4th and 5th Feb between 10am–5pm to see a shared installation that touches upon the history of The Assembly House, reflections on its past visitors and past lives.

Laura Bygrave’s reliefs are ghosts of a sculpture; provisional, collaged, they sit as summoned figures.

Karis Upton conjures the juggler, the magician and her ancestors for protection and guidance in the dark.

And from afar, over the seas, Nicky Deeley is a spectral presence, gathering the shadows into words and stories to accompany our meeting. This is a tense dinner, a seance, a dirty glitzy drift through time visiting the ghosts of The Assembly House
