Celebrate Norwich’s Extraordinary Women with The Assembly House Trust
As part of Heritage Open Days, The Assembly House Trust are celebrating Norwich’s Extraordinary Women with an exciting new project.
In the early twentieth century Norwich High School for Girls was based at The Assembly House on Theatre Street.
The school produced some amazing Norwich girls who went on to be Extraordinary Women, including the great Edith Cavell, Labour MP Dorothy Jewson and Botanist Joyce Lambert.
The Assembly House Trust are looking for members of the public to research a relative from Norwich High School for Girls and share their findings as part of Heritage Open Days.
Members of the public can apply to research a relative or alumni and celebrate their life as part of Heritage Open Days, including three sessions of training and research leading up to a special event on Sunday 16th September at The Assembly House.
