Illustrator and printmaker Leanda Jaine presents a new collection of work continuing with the theme of memory and place.
Leanda graduated from Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) in 2014 with a first class honours degree in illustration. After graduating she has produced several large collections including A to Z of Norwich, Suffolk and the biggest and most recent for Midhurst Town Council, West Sussex celebrating the new and old architecture it has to offer.
She has recently moved to Cromer where she has renovated and established a print studio and gallery for herself. She lives and works here with her dog, cat and family.
“I enjoy incorporating and using the notion of psychogeography in my work. This theory of movement opens up new and exciting perspectives of navigating oneself around an area. By creating A to Z’s of specific locations I like the viewer to look and experience different landscapes than they would normally consider.”
